Alve Abraham - Kottarakara, India.

Sponsored in 2005, Alve is 9 years old here. Alve's health is good, progress excellent, and she enjoys playing hide-and-seek and collecting stamps and postcards. Unfortunately her father is very sick and is not able to work. Her mother works as a teacher's aid but her salary is very meager at 900 Indian Rupees a month. She is unable to meet the basic needs of her family, as she also supports her in-laws as is required by custom. This family struggles. Our sponsorship support is making sure Alve has food, clothing and education.

Alve sent us a picture and another letter! What a beautiful 11 year old she is now!

Dear Sponsor,

It was very nice to write and tell you more about me. Our school celebrated Christmas and New Year. We had Children’s Ministry program in our church when we students conducted S.S and church service.

The Christmas holiday was from Dec 23-Jan 1. I got all papers back and scored B grades. I like to study geography best. My teacher is also good. My Papa and Mummy told me to give their greetings to you. I love you so much for you help me to study in this school. Hope you are in the best of health.

I received a Christmas gift from the school. I received black shoes and socks. Thank you very much for the same.
