Sponsored in July 2007, little Mia is 7 years old here (her birthday is on New Years Day - aw!) and in Grade 2. If you can believe it, this little girl has seven brothers and three sisters, and her mother and father, both laborers, only earn a combined income of approximatly $35CAD/mo to provide for this huge family. They need help desperately as they are barely able to eat three meals a day. Mia is a very good student and wants to continue going to school, and the sponsorship funds we are sending because of you Knotty kids go toward making this possible for her! Mia for President? Maybe! |
