The new price options you are given when you 'Checkout' your order are based on the weight and destination of your package. It is possible that a slower, non-trackable option will be priced higher than the faster, trackable option. This is because your package is either too large, or too heavy for the slower option. Don't worry, our system is calculating the shipping costs correctly in all cases.

Q: Why am I suddenly being charged extra at the post office when I pick up my Knotty Boy order?
You are being asked to pay the truly nasty import taxes and duties. It is no different than when we buy something from any another country, ship it into our country and have to pay all import taxes and duties to before they will give us the parcel. Don't borders suck? Lately, it seems like some countries (in particular in the UK) have decided to crack down on packages coming in from abroad and that's why it seems more parcels are being dinged for these taxes, fees and duties depending on how you would like to think about them.
If you would like to avoid these extra charges, the best thing to do is to buy from a local retailer if there is one close by (be a local yokel for sure!). These can be found by going to the Find A Store button and clicking on your country. Some of these retailers even sell locally online making the shipping costs less expensive, and you would avoid the duties and customs fees, too. Good luck!
Q. Can I get it couriered overnight?
A. Knotty Boy cannot ship overnight, COD, UPS, or by way of any other courier company to the US or elsewhere, since we are in Canada and have a border and customs to deal with. The shipping would cost far more than the products themselves, so we don't offer these methods of shipping since we already use the most economical way available to ship from here to there.
Q. Why don't you offer iCheck or Paypal?
A. We've found these two methods were not used very often by our customers and are also very high maintenance. We have made available a plethora of other methods by which you can pay for your Knotty Boy order. Happily, we also have loads more stores now carrying the Knotty Boy line. Q. How do I add and remove items from my Knotty Shopping Cart?
A. Adding items is done by clicking the "Yum Yum Gimmie Some" buttons found next to the products on the website. To remove something, go to your Knotty Shopping Cart, click on the Delete' box and then click Update Totals' at the bottom of the page. The Continue Shopping button lets you go back to shopping to your heart's content!
Q. Where can I buy Knotty Boy other than online?
A. Knotty Boy Dread products are carried by stores and salons all over the world! However, very few of our store locations carry our Knotty Boy apparel and accessories, so if you want tams, t-shirts, etc, you will need to order from this website. Click here to find a retailer near you!
Q. What is Knotty Boy's return policy?
A. Please, please, please read our Knotty Boy Returns Policy here! Knotty Boy is very limited in terms of what we can refund due to our products being designed for use on the body and Health Canada's guidelines for returning body products. So read that stuff careful-like before you go ordering impulsively, thanks!
