How do I use the tightening gel?

Here's the scoop- you should ONLY use the gel on WET HAIR!!!

After washing, palm-roll in a pea-sized blob per couple of dreads.

Too much gel, using gel on dry hair and exposing gel to too much heat (ie from a hair dryer) can cause flakiness.� This doesn't mean you shouldn't use a blow-dryer at all, just keep it on a low setting.

I just got new knots a week ago. Got my Knotty Boy Starter Kit, and have been using the tightening gel over the weekend. But rechecking your site I'm seeing the wax and thinking I should be using that instead? What's the diff and how should I be using the two of them correctly?
