That's a good question!  It depends on a number of factors:

1. How long your hair is.
2. How thick your hair is.
3. How long you have had your locks in ie how hard and locked are they?

It's best to use your judgement, longer, thicker and older locks may need two kits, shorter, thinner and newer locks may be fine with just one.

You can always use any left-over shampoo and conditioner on your un-dreaded hair for continued conditioning and repair.
