One should be plenty if your hair is up to medium length and if you haven’t had your dreads for more than 4 or 5 years. Use your judgment, if your dreads are rock hard you might need a little bit more. And keep in mind that you’ll want to use any leftover conditioner for at least a couple weeks after the removal.
