Our apparel sale is still on - cheap Knotty t's, tank tops and knickers going fast! It's a good time to stock up on extra stuff, especially for knotty bottoms! heh heh.

Our front page got another face lift! We've updated a few other things, too, including a Send This Page to a Friend link at the top of every page for your lovely convenience and a frequently-updated News link under the Learn section. And because we are just so freakin' animal-friendly around here, we've got a new option on your order page when you're checking out, where you can request a free Why Vegan? info pack. If you've ever been curious about animal-cruelty issues in the meat processing industry and other vegan-related things, be sure to check this out.

We've also recently made a donation of $1200 to the Malawi, Africa Food Fund where our little 'adopted' child Memory is from. Her country is suffering from a desperate 3-year drought and almost everyone is starving. Considering it costs less than $200/year to feed one person there, we thought making this donation was the right thing to do, and how we wish we all could give more!

Oh, one more web-related thing that's been a hot potato here at the Dreadquarters is the advent of the new Knotty Boy Chat Room and removal of the message board. We got BIG feedback on this one, but before y'all blow your dreadies again, listen up! Just so you know, Knotty Boy was only trying to respond to a lot of people who were very vocal in requesting a chat room rather than a message board, because they wanted more interaction between their new friends. You know, to meet other like-minded dreadies, real-time! Seemed like a good idea to us, too - but phew, what a stink after we bent over backwards (like the good Knotty Kids we are!) to fill this request. Anyway, the chat room is here to stay and it's a pretty damn good one, too, so go and enjoy it! And if you happen to hang out in some of the other dread message boards out there, feel free to use our chat room in conjunction with those to cyber with your new friends. (ACK, I can't believe I just used the term 'cyber' - what a nerd.)
