The Knotty Boy Emergency Dreadlock Removal Kit was designed for removing dreadlocks that have been started using wax-based hair products, but also works great for removing and deep-cleaning all dreadlock types.

After thoroughly scrubbing with Knotty Boy Emergency Dreadlock Removal Shampoo, detangle and moisturize those dreads with our silky Knotty Boy Damage-Control Deep Conditioner for softer, easier to comb through locks and ultimate hair-repair. Aloe vera extract soothes the scalp and hair follicles, while jojoba, hemp oil and panthenol smoothes, strengthens and conditions your knotty hair back to its previous, free-flowing form!
Both Shampoo and Conditioner may also be used repeatedly on non-dreaded hair for continued repair and conditioning.
Please note: You may require at least one day to work out your locks. It may seem like a long time, but it only makes sense for a hairstyle that takes several hours to create to take as much (or more) time to take out. At the end of the day, you will just be picking knots out of your hair. So I did it...The shampoo and conditioner were heavenly scented, and I really could notice the softness of the dreads once the wax was removed... My dreads being almost 4 years old were rock hard most the way down. The conditioner was the real hum-dinger (in a good way!) as the last of my little nubbies just washed right out and my hair was silky smooth with little to no effort...
