This cutie is little Archana, from Bidar, India. She is 8 years old (2006), and has one brother and two sisters. Archana is a bright student and loves baseball and other sports. Unfortunately she comes from a single-income home where her father is a taxi driver and unable to support the family well. They have no ability to send her to a good school, so here’s where you have stepped in to help this family. Check out the adorable letters she’s sent us! ================================================== Dear Sponsor, I thank you very much for your love towards me. I received my gift, a Salwar suit, brick-colour. I am very happy I can wear it for church. I am studying hard to get good marks. Now and then I am getting fits. Please pray for my health and studies. Spring 2006 Dear Sponsor, How are you? I am fine here by the Saviour Jesus Christ. I wish you the same. I am studying well, my teachers are teaching us nicely. I got good marks on all the subjects and I took third rank in my class. In holidays I went to my village. I spend my holidays with my parents and now I’m back to study. Summer 2006 Dear Sponsor, I am happy to write to you. I am keeping fine over here. I believe that you are also keeping fine over there. I have done my 3 rd test. Now we all are busy for the school annual day cultural program. It is on March 6 th 2006. After which we are going to have our annual exams. My parents, sisters and brothers are doing fine. How are you? I am fine here by the grace of God. I went home for the Christmas holidays. I enjoyed the holidays with my family. I got a frock, pink in colour, is it beautiful. Thank you for sending the dress. I am very happy. I am studying well. I got good marks in 2nd term exam. We celebrated New Years nicely, we celebrated Republic Day on the 26th of Jan. I also participated in sports and I got 1st prize in the running race. Now I am preparing for my test. I remember you all in my prayers. Pray for my studies, health and my family.
