Meet Kandia Tripura, our first child sponsored as a direct result of the new Eco-Packaging Fundraiser project, and our seventh child in total that is sponsored yearly! Kandia will be 8 years old on May 20th, 2006. He, his one brother and two sisters live in Bangladesh. His father works in the fields and his mother cares for the large family at home, which is a bamboo hut with sadly very little land surrounding them to cultivate. Kandia is in Kindergarten this year and likes to study, enjoys reading stories, and his favorite subject is math. Thank you so much for your donations which have allowed us the opportunity to help him and his family in this way for the coming year! |
