Now, you don't necessarily need another person to dread up your hair, but unless you have experience working with hair, particularly with sectioning, it can really help.

It can be quite tiring to reach around to the back of your head for long periods of time. Your locks will also probably end up looking a lot nicer if you have someone help you plan out the sectioning pattern, because they can see where the next one should be, how big they should be to fit your head properly, how they look next to adjacent sections, &c.

Feedback from our customers over the years is that those who did have an assistant, particularly for the back section, were glad they did.
