Can i use dread wax on damp or wet hair?

Dreadlock Wax is meant to be used on dry hair only, we recommend the use of a blow-dryer and about 24 hours before reapplication once your hair is wet for any reason - shampooing, swimming, etc.

Applying wax to wet or damp hair may trap moisture inside your locks, helping mildew or bacteria to develop.
