Overall, in terms of how much to buy, one 4oz / 115ml jar of Dread Wax will be enough to lock up the average user's hair to start, and for the entire period (about six months) of waxing. For those with very thick or long hair, a bit more may be required - but you'll be fine with a smaller jar to start.
On the daily, as in how much to use at one application and palm-rolling: less. Less, as in less than you think you need. You can always add more later, but adding too much is a bit of a drag for a while.
