We recommmend focussing most of your attention on your scalp, which is why we recommend the Original Dread Bar at first - it's easy to rub the edge of the Bar directly on the spaces between sections to get a really good deep clean.

After lathering your scalp, run your hands gently down your locks - gently in the case of very fresh locks, even more so in the case of delicate twists which you don't want to answer to your stylist for - to avoid creating excessive buildup. Somewhere between a light lather and a rinse is what you're going for here.
